Three discs of rare studio material, alternate mixes, and live studio versions that genuinely cover thirty years of Prince's hidden archive in one carefully assembled collection.
What Makes This Set Special
Disc Two is the standout. Five different mixes of Gangster Glam back to back — the Gangsta Groove 7", the Gangsta Groove Mix, the Gangsta Mental Mix, the Gangsta Hurley's House 7", and the Gangsta Hurley's House Mix — making this one of the most comprehensive single-track remix collections in any Prince collector release. The disc closes with the rare live studio versions of Willing And Able and Live 4 Love, recordings that capture Prince and the NPG performing in a studio setting rather than for a live audience.
Disc One opens with I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man before moving through Rebirth Of The Flesh, the rare The Grand Progression, God Is Alive, Oobey Doop, and the gospel-tinged Standing At The Altar. Disc Three closes the set with The P, 2gether, Race, the elusive Calhoun Square, and two separate Good Life remixes — the Bullets Go Bang Remix and the Big City Remix.
