David Bowie — The 1980 Floor Show Outtakes (6-DVD Set)
One of the Rarest Bowie Documents Ever Assembled
The 1980 Floor Show was David Bowie's last performance as Ziggy Stardust — recorded across three nights at The Marquee Club in London on 18, 19, and 20 October 1973. Originally filmed for NBC's Midnight Special and broadcast in November that year, the show captured Bowie at one of the most dramatic turning points of his entire career, just months after he had famously retired Ziggy on stage at the Hammersmith Odeon.
What Makes This Set Extraordinary
This is not the broadcast version. These are the outtakes — six full DVDs of raw footage, alternate takes, rehearsal material, and behind-the-scenes content from those three historic nights that has never been part of any official release. For serious Bowie collectors, this is as close as it gets to being in that room.
Performances included material from Aladdin Sane, Pin Ups, and the final moments of the Ziggy era — with guest appearances that made the broadcast legendary and outtake footage that makes this set even more so.
