The Lost Album Series is the most ambitious unofficial Beatles archive project ever created. Six volumes, 111 discs worth of material, spanning the band's entire creative life from 1958 to 1969 — plus early solo ventures and collaborations. Built by a group known as The Producers and released between December 2017 and December 2021, this is one of the most comprehensive fan-curated Beatles collections of its kind in existence.
What's in the Collection
Every recording in this project came from a source that was never commercially released — demos, outtakes, rehearsals, home tapes, live performances, BBC radio sessions, and material that has only ever circulated in collector circles. The goal of the series was to present these rare recordings in a fresh, coherent way using careful remixes, seamless collages, and subtle overdubs drawn exclusively from original Beatles audio.
Extensive audio restoration was applied to every volume — repairing dropouts, correcting technical flaws, and enhancing clarity while preserving the authenticity of the original performances. Short fragments were tastefully linked together to create smoother, more consistent tracks. Each volume is built around its own theme, whether full live concerts, isolated vocals, instrumental takes, or rare remix sessions.
Note: there is no Volume 3 or 4 — the series uses the volume numbers shown below.
